Junior Awards

Instrumental soloists between the ages of 15 and 20 who are resident in the UK and have demonstrated both exceptional talent and achievement may apply at any time of the year for financial assistance towards travelling expenses to attend national or international competitions, master classes within the UK or abroad and specific assistance in the case of hardship. Funding is not given for full-time study or instrument purchase.

Please allow at least 2 months for your application to be processed. Awards cannot be made in arrears.

If you are eligible to apply then you may print and complete the Application Form, attaching information requested in the Form and send it with your recent cassette or CD (not video) recording and two sealed references to the Hattori Foundation.
